Worlds Collide.

The article focuses on the gap between the real world and the world of school with special reference to researcher and education reformer Lauren Resnick's paper titled "Learning In School and Out." She wrote in her paper that common sense outweighs school learning for getting along in the world and that there exists a practical intelligence, which is different from school intelligence and that matters more in real life. She explored in her paper that schooling focuses on the individual's performance, whereas out-of-school mental work is something that is often shared socially.
