Abstract
- The article focuses on the expectations by Sir Martin Harris, director of the British Office for Fair Access (Offa), that Offa may not need to exist as separate legal entity. There is a need for the role of Offa in encouraging university applications from underrepresented students to continue. Some expect the role of the Offa to be absorbed into the remit of the Higher Education Funding Council for England. He urges universities to ensure clarity and accessibility of financial information.
