Abstract
- The author reflects on the reasons why the communists made a strong showing in the late elections in Rome, Italy and discusses communists' ominous meaning for the free world. The author said that he saw the utter failure of the pro-American noncommunist labor union to break the communist hold on the Italian working class. There was a communist union headquarters where a fellow could stop in at any time.
