Abstract
- The article reports that Canada's colleges and universities are looking for ways to recruit aboriginal students. The University of Toronto, Ontario is one of just a few dozen colleges and universities in Canada that tried to recruit and retain aboriginal students. Universities in western Canada have generally done the most to recruit aboriginal students, perhaps because they make up a larger part of the population than in the eastern part of the country. INSETS: The Only Aboriginal-Run University in Canada Is in Trouble;Students Flock to Aboriginal-Studies Programs.
