Abstract
- The article reports on developments on topics related to business intelligence (BI) technology. In 2006, BI is predicted to continue to emerge from its traditional confines of historical reports used by statisticians or business analysts. Furthermore, Microsoft Corp. might capitalize on its SQL Server 2005 in the BI market. In addition, it is anticipated that more vendors will respond to user demands to link BI and business process management.
