Abstract

This article is an account of the life, career and style of the former leader of the Britain's Labor Party, Neil Kinnock. He is a passionate believer in universal education. He stepped down from his post as head of the Labor party in 1997 and was succeeded by Prime Minister Tony Blair. Although the two men disagree on a number of subjects, Kinnock refused to criticize Blair until the release of a government white paper on education which he loudly and publicly criticized.
