Abstract

The article features inventor George J. Schulmerich, head of Schulmerich Electronics based in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. He invented electronic bells which are made of tiny pieces of metal and give off barely audible sounds when struck with a miniature hammer. He has sold electronic bells to church, colleges, banks and memorials. He started his career in electronics when he was still in high school and by selling loud-speaker systems.
