Combat Fleets.

The article presents information related to various combat submarines. In December 2005, Brazil commissioned the submarine Tikuná into service. Peru has acquired four Lupo-class frigates from the Italian Navy, joining four sisters already in service. Long rumored probable, the transfer of two French Ouragan-class dock landing ships to Argentina has been finalized. Current Argentine naval plans for 2006 also include the completion of a refit on board the hydrographic survey ship Comadoro Rivadavia and the start of upgrades for Antarctic support ship Almirante Irizar and TR-1700-class submarine San Juan.
