- The article discusses national security issues which have been raised in the United States after the announcement that Dubai Ports World, owned by the United Arab Emirates, would purchase terminals at six U.S. seaports. While the story generated a lot of political dissent and media attention, the real security issues surround weaknesses that already exist.
