Abstract: The article reports on issues and events related to psychotherapy in Great Britain as of February 2006. A paper purporting antidepressants and electro-convulsive therapy as the best treatments for depression has been published by Klaus Ebmeir from Edinburgh University. Mental Health Foundation (MHF) and the University of Warwick has launched an online survey to determine the feelings, values and beliefs of therapists. Diet and mental health are closely linked according to MHF and Sustain.
