Abstract

The article discusses the board of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRLD) in Washington state and their vote to filter all library computer access for pornography. This would be a violation of the Children's Internet Protection Act which requires libraries to disable filters upon adult request. A case of security harassing adults for viewing Internet pornography in Montgomery County, Maryland is highlighted.
