Abstract: The article comments on the status of the "Journal of Postgraduate Medicine" in year 2005. The number of manuscripts received increased by 22 percent, compared to the previous year. Only a small percentage of the submissions were accepted for publication by the editorial board, to avoid delays in the release of the journal.
