Abstract: This article reports that the Walt Disney Co. plans to make much of its television programming on ABC and other channels available on the Internet. The shows, which include "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost," will contain features which will not permit viewers to skip advertisements, thus making the free web service a profit-generating business for Disney. Ford Motor Co., Procter and Gamble, and Universal Pictures have agreed to sponsor programs.
