Abstract
- The article addresses the elements of blackface minstrelsy that can be witnessed in the popular music practice of sampling. During the late nineteenth century, blackface minstrelsy became the most popular form of entertainment in the U.S. It was a response to a particular historical situation. And this article particularly focused on the work of the dance music artist Moby.
