Abstract

This article reports that the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is offering its tour players a personal brand manager and will subsidize part of the cost in the U.S. in 2006. This effort is the brainchild of LPGA Commissioner Carolyn Bivens. Bivens has hired Wendy Newman, founder-developer of Person Centered Branding, who will meet individually with players. A personal branding coach is just part of Bivens' marketing plan.
