Abstract
- The article argues that the United States government have been exporting domestic legal rules and norms into the international arena through bilateral and regional trade agreements. The free trade agreements build a common body of law which typically represents American legal standards and interpretations. Law is being exported from economically powerful countries, such as the US, to economically disadvantaged states.
