Abstract

The article presents a scientific research that investigates on the role of adenosine A1 receptors in regulating blood pressure, renin release and sodium excretion in conscious mice. Results of the study showed that an elevated dietary salt content decreases plasma renin concentration to approximately the same extent in both experimental subjects.
