Abstract

The article focuses on the success attained by the Orlando Course in Braille in Florida. The program receives a positive response by parents of healthy blind or nearly blind children. It teaches students to read the Braille. Moreover, the Orlando Course is fitted to adults who already know how to read the ordinary newspaper.
