Abstract
- The article discusses the comments to the published paper "Hurricanes and Global Warming— Potential Linkages and Consequences." The 2005 North Atlantic hurricane season experienced the largest number of named storms, hurricanes, and the only year with three category five storms on record including the most intense Wilma, Rita in the Gulf of Mexico, and the most costly storm Katrina. The relationships between tropical cyclones and global climate change are the subject of many science studies and researches. The science and social complexity of this together with the effects and causes in society are discussed.
