Abstract

The article reports on the research study on the demographics in education conducted by the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education in Great Britain. The report questions current policies, particularly in the concentration of activity and money on a narrow set of government targets. The increase in the number of teenagers in schools compared to adults had affected the Learning and Skills Council budget for continuing education.
