Abstract

The article reports on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) arbitration panel, which awarded investors Charanjit and Harpeet Sahni large sums in their suit against Prudential Securities, Inc. for mishandling funds. At $14.5 million, this is third largest award ever handed down by NYSE. The case is also significant because the NYSE arbitration panel usually aligns with the Wall Street firms, rather than investors. A chart of the top 5 NYSE awards is included.
