Abstract
- 2-(Benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-4-chloro-3-oxobutanenitrile (2) was utilized for the synthesis of several new benzothiazole derivatives. Compound 2 reacted with aniline, hydrazine hydrate, ethanolamine, and ethyl glycinate hydrochloride to yield benzothiazole derivatives 3–6, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
