Abstract: This article discusses synergistic efforts employed by the Tribune Company in response to slumping newspaper sales. Concepts being explored by Tribune include the dissemination of newsworthy information over a variety of U.S. news outlets and formats owned by the company, as well as the creation of a country-wide news model to attract advertisers to make sweeping buys for media advertising across the country.
