Abstract
- This article provides information on the issues discussed at the 2006 conference of the Association of National Health Service (NHS) Occupational Health (OH) Nurses. The conference was dominated by concerns that the NHS cash crisis would lead to cuts in OH services. According to Julian Topping, head of workplace health at NHS Employers, he had received unofficial reports of trusts cutting back to a core service and reviewing OH services with a view to outsourcing them to external contractors.
