Abstract: The MAPNET platform is our .NET-based implementation of the general mobile agent-based model for organizing distributed computations. A mobile agent is a software entity with the capacity to migrate from one network location to another. This paper describes the functionality of the agent server, which provides the environment for hosting agents.
