Bacterial blight and dieback of Eucalyptus in Uganda.

This article presents an abstract of the research paper "Bacterial blight and dieback of Eucalyptus in Uganda ," which was presented at the 43rd Annual Congress of the Southern African Society for Plant Pathology held at Hartenbos, Western Cape. Bacterial blight and dieback, which is caused by Pantoea ananatis, is a disease of young Eucalyptus trees. The study does not find that P. ananatis is responsible for bacterial blight and dieback in Uganda.
