Abstract

The article discusses on the factors that promotes the growth of weeds in the fields . Some of the contributors on the growth of weeds include the type of soil where the crop is planted, the sowing time, and the application of chemicals in the crops. From the factors mention the most significant influence in the growth of weeds is the sowing time. The seasonal change shows a strong influence with the growth of most weed species. The density of weeds in the fields depends on the sowing date.
