Abstract
- The article reports on the successful at-sea docking test of an autonomous unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) and the submerge attack submarine USS Scranton by the U.S. Navy in January 2006. The U.S. Navy's development of autonomous UUV has achieved its first successful at-sea docking with the submerging of USS Scranton, a nuclear-powered attack submarine.
