Abstract

Abstract: La-doped Bi2Ti2O7 nanocrystals have been prepared using chemical solution deposition technique. The (Bi1−x La x )2Ti2O7 phase is stable at a high temperature (800°C). The morphologies of SEM show that the average size of the powders is about 200nm. The precursor powders were examined by DTA and TGA with thermal analyzers. UV–Vis absorption spectra were measured for the samples; their band gap estimated to be about 3.4eV. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
