Abstract

This article discusses WNYC, the largest public radio station in the United States. WNYC will move its offices from the Municipal Building in Manhattan to new offices on Varick Street, a move that will cost the station $45 million. WNYC had occupied the Municipal Building since 1924, and wanted to assert a new identity through a new office space.
