Abstract
- The article presents various topics discussed in the June 2006 disease surveillance report of the Veterinary Laboratories Agency for England and Wales. Abortion cases of two cows in Luddington, England were attributed to intrauterine infection caused by bovine viral diarrhea. Two newborn suckling calves in Shrewsbury, England was diagnosed to have Escherichia coli septicemia. 16 lambs died in Newcastle, England due to coccidiosis and high fecal oocyst counts indicative of Eimeria ovinoidalis.
