Abstract
- The article focuses on the life and career of former scientists at E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. after the company closed most of its businesses. In 1995, the company was considered as one of the world's largest companies employing 105,000 people worldwide. When du Pont sold its large business, many of its employees ended at new firms. These firms are providing opportunities for these employees in an entrepreneurial environment. Stories of former scientists of the company are offered.
