Abstract
- The article presents a discussion on an adaptation of Euripides' "The Trojan Woman," by Sartre. The author reflects that the main differences between Euripides and Sartre's works lies in the use of words. He describes that Euripides writes in verses with ambiguity and sense of rhythm, while Sartre used direct statements as he is not a poet. He concludes that Sartre focused on a new core in his adaptation while retaining the external structure of the story.
