FROM THE PRESIDENT.

The article considers the future and some of the challenges facing the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Since its inception, the College has enjoyed good reputation. Its examinations and diplomas are highly respected, its conventions draw musicians from across Canada and its borders. Nevertheless, the College serve only a small portion of the organists' community. As it approaches its centennial, the College need to redefine, to confirm and enlarge its engagement with the wider musical community.
