Abstract

This article focuses on the music and biographical background of 16-year-old budding rap star Harrison Schneider, known as M.C. Problem Child. Schneider is different than most rappers because he didn't grow up in a public housing project, has never sold crack, has never been shot or joined a gang, and lives in a home in affluent Great Neck on Long Island living with both parents. He dropped out of high school with his parents support to pursue his rap career.
