Abstract

The article focuses on a decrease in the number of women employed in the Information Technology (IT) industry in Australia. The decline of female participation in the information and communication technology sector can lead to harmful economic consequences. Most industries are linked to the IT sector in one way or the other. The enrolment of women in IT courses has also decreased.
