Abstract
- The article discusses the author's experience of discovering autoimmune disease. He started to study about autoimmunity when immunologist Ernest Witebsky recruited him to join his immunology team at a university to study on medical studies. The study the team conducted was about antibody response as a chemical reaction. He narrates the process Witebsky used in the study and how they decided to publish their findings.
