Displays get tough for industrial apps.

Abstract: The article reports on the focus of most leading display manufacturers on industrial applications that require high-reliability, strong displays. Most of the latest designs operate well both in indoor and outdoor environments and are tough to be used in marine products, medical equipment, automated teller machines and kiosks. The displays come in sizes ranging from 3.5 inches to 15 inches and an options in brightness, contrast, temperature range and power consumption.
