Abstract
- The article features the Conservatory of Music at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. It describes the academic-gothic exterior of the building in which the university's original pipe organ is installed. In 1992, electronic organ substitutes were installed as part of the facility's $6.4 million renovation. The stage tone openings at its Mees Hall include an architectural grill utilizing motifs from the hall and proscenium arch designed by Schantz staff architect Eric J. Gastier.
