Abstract

The article discusses the impact of the growing expansion of higher education on the city development in Great Britain. The author offers suggestions on how cities can manage the increase in student populations in tightly-defined areas, and investigates the reasons for the clustering of students in such areas of cities. He also discusses the impacts of over-educated population on the indigenous population and its implications for the general vitality of the cities.
