Abstract
- The article presents news briefs relating to colleges and universities. A 62-year-old jogger who was lost for four days in the woods near the University of Central Florida was found by Ron D. Eaglin, assistant dean and a professor of engineering. A scholar at the University of London has confirmed that cows, like humans, have regional accents. A dairy farmer in Somerset County, England, says the variations may result from the close bonds between the dairymen and their animals, saying they "definitely moo with a Somerset drawl."
