Abstract

The article features the use of the pocket mirror as a handy means of promoting a product. The use of the pocket mirror as a medium for advertisement was very effective since the advertisement was on one side, and the customer on the other. They were distributed at shops and department stores to men and women alike, and featured ladies at the backs of the pocket mirrors together with the advertisements for shoe companies, candymakers, and softdrink products.
