Pollutant Enterprises Ejected from Pearl River Delta.

The article reports that the local government of Guangdong Province in China has notified several Hong Kong businesses in Shenzhen and Dongguan that their contracts would not be renewed beyond June 2006. The businesses were given the options to close down or move away from the areas. Findings of the 2005 Pearl River Delta Geological Environment and Geological Disaster Investigation showed that 95 percent of water in the Pearl River estuary is polluted.
