- The article reports that maker of wireless devices, Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM) has strong preliminary second-quarter results. After the launch of new products by RIM, the company foresees strong growth during its next quarter. Stock of RIM jumped almost 20% on September 29 after the positive earnings news and continued to gain ground through October 4.
