Hearing Reviews Federal Chemical Rules.

The article reports that the U.S. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee on August 2, 2006 has examined the regulation of commercials chemicals of the Environmental Protection Agency under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Prior to this investigation, the Government Accountability Office issued a report critical to the agency's ability to manage chemicals and recommended changes to TSCA.
