Abstract
- The article discusses the concept of thermal effusivity and the role of this parameter in understanding thermal physics concepts. The use of thermal effusivity instead of thermal conductivity is emphasized in explaining why we feel that one body is hotter or colder when we touch objects of equal temperature but of different materials.
