Abstract

The article reflects on the author's favorite rituals during the autumn season in the U.S. Fallen leaves serve as a change in the weather and for him it symbolizes a transformation of his life. Every autumn, he will take long walks then pick up a fallen leaf and reflects on some changes he have to make by writing them on the plant organ. Another customary observance that he enjoys is the burning of dried leaves where he found sacredness on the aroma.
