Yogi Berra's Chevy Truck: A Report Card on the State of Research in the Field of Gifted Education.

The article presents a paper that was delivered at the National Association for Gifted Children Symposium 2006 which was aimed at exploring the developments in research that will sustain the growth of gifted education. The author comments on a wide range of topics including the definition of gifted education, the similarities and differences of the research base in the field with respect to other fields, the research agendas that need advancement, the impact of research on practice, the impact of research on giftedness and talent development, and more others.
