Abstract

The article focuses on John A. Gotti who, after escaping conviction thrice on federal racketeering charges in a year, will finally be able to pursue an ordinary life. According to Michael J. Garcia, the U.S. attorney in Manhattan, New York City, the government has concluded that a re-trial of defendant Gotti on the pending indictment is not in the interest of justice in light of the three prior hung juries in the case.
