MERCK TAPS INDIA FOR NEW DRUG.

The article reports on the move of Merck KGAA, a German-based pharmaceutical company, to pay US$30 million to US$240 million for rights to a diabetes drug from Glenmark Pharmaceutical, a Mumbai, India-based drug company.
